Although not directly affiliated with Grand Valley State University, The Lodge and Alpine Apartments just west of GVSU’s Allendale campus are geared towards housing for students. The entire project will cover nearly 50 acres of former farmland, with the second of three phases wrapping up at the end of the summer. During Phase One, Thornapple Excavating constructed a county road that extended W Campus Drive to connect it to Pierce Street.
