The Amy Van Andel Library in Ada, Michigan was funded largely by donations from the Van Andel family. Because of the original layout of the site, Thornapple Excavating imported more than 14,000 cubic yards of Class II sand to bring the site up to grade. The project also included a 6,600 square foot StormTech underground retention system below the parking lot.
Thornapple is proud to have left their mark on the Village of Ada, being a part of this high-profile project.
